A twin bedroom that works just as well for grown-u

A twin bedroom that works just as well for grown-ups as it does for younger guests. We kept the palette relatively neutral, layering soft pattern and texture to make the room feel warm and inviting.

The beds were made bespoke at 110cm wide rather than the standard 90cm - a small change that makes them that bit more generous and comfortable.

Gone are the days of the dining room being saved for best. At Bunny’s family home, the big table is put to full use – family dinners, homework, crafting with the kids and everything in between.

The low ceiling makes it wonderfully cosy in the evenings, while plenty of natural light means the room works just as well throughout the day. A proper multi-purpose family space.

A closer look at the bathroom in Emmas London flat, recently featured in @telegraph

Thank you to @bertandmay who kindly gifted the bespoke tiles. Emma used their Colour Studio to create her own combination of pattern and colour, with a porcelain finish that has all the character of an encaustic tile. The result is the most tranquil space to unwind after a busy day in London.

Blue is often thought of as a cooler colour, but here at @glenglackcabins it feels anything but.

Bauwerk limewash across the walls and ceiling gives the colour movement and depth, with an almost aged quality that feels very at home in its rural surroundings. We carried the blue through to the cabinetry too, creating a space that feels warm and enveloping.

A little back-to-school inspiration…
We love creating bedrooms that give children a little independence, with dedicated spaces to do homework, draw, read or get lost in a project of their own. A built-in desk makes use of every inch here, with plenty of storage close at hand, and a window seat for when a change of scene is needed.

Tucked away in the grounds of a Berkshire estate,

Tucked away in the grounds of a Berkshire estate, this little hobbit house was built by @blueforest_treehouses and designed as a place for fun and escape.
Inside, we kept things suitably cosy, with natural fabrics, earthy tones and plenty of soft places to settle in around the fire. The perfect spot for a few s’mores and a hot chocolate after a day spent exploring.

Once the family kitchen, this space was reimagined as a welcoming entrance hall.
We retained the original terracotta floor, using its warmth as the starting point for the room and introducing further texture through the rug and curtains. Hanging curtains at the door not only helps keep the warmth in during winter, but brings an added softness to the entrance too.

There’s something so inviting about a bedroom tucked beneath the eaves. In this Grade I listed home, the delicate stripe wraps across the walls and ceiling, embracing the proportions of the room, while the antique bed and gathered valance feels wonderfully in keeping with the heritage of the house.

Sometimes it’s the architecture that leads the design.
The oval window was always going to be the star of this principal en suite. Instead of competing with it, the vanity was designed with an offset mirror, allowing the window to remain perfectly centred and become a feature in its own right.

When a home offers details like these, it’s only ever right to celebrate them.

The wallpaper in this Mill House cloakroom began with an antique book of hand-coloured fish illustrations.

Inspired by the lakes and streams surrounding the property, each of the 250 fish were individually placed to create a bespoke wallpaper that feels completely at home in its setting. It’s one of our favourite details in the whole house.

Designed as the ultimate teen den, this room proves that practical spaces don’t have to compromise on personality.
Built-in daybeds provide seating by day and transform into four extra beds when friends come to stay, with plenty of storage tucked away in the drawers below. Positioned opposite a large cinema screen, it’s a space made for sleepovers, movie nights and everything in between.

The kitchen at this Arts & Crafts home in Surrey balances history with modern family life. Original architectural features such as the archway sit comfortably alongside bespoke joinery and contemporary materials. Materials were chosen with both beauty and practicality in mind. The porcelain floor captures the warmth and character of traditional terracotta, while offering a more durable surface for everyday family living.

The island, painted in @farrowandball Babouche, introduces an unexpected burst of colour that brings the whole space to life whilst the hand-painted archway by @tessnewallstudio transforms an everyday transition into a decorative focal point.

We love celebrating the stories a house already has to tell. Here, the original timber door and historic service bell panel have been carefully retained, allowing these characterful details to continue playing a part in the home’s next chapter.

There’s something so special about a box room. Inherently cosy and wonderfully cocooning, they invite you to lean into a little whimsy. We loved wrapping this one in a favourite wallpaper, adding shelves for treasured books and designing clever storage beneath the bed, making the most of every inch while creating a space that feels calm, comforting and full of character.

The perfect family sofa. Designed to be as comfortable as it is timeless, with generous proportions and traditional craftsmanship at its heart.

When we set out to design this piece with @lorfords_contemporary we wanted to create the kind of sofa we felt was hard to find, one that is as practical as it is comfortable, generous enough for family life, and timeless enough to sit effortlessly in any home.

Creating this collection with Lorfords Contemporary has been a real pleasure, and we’re so excited to see these pieces finding their place in homes. We hope you love them as much as we do ✨

A collaboration we’ve thoroughly enjoyed bringing to life.
Working alongside the talented teams at @volga_linen and @lorfords_contemporary has been a real pleasure. Featuring Volga’s new Scarlet Flax & Field Flower print, the installation celebrates timeless design, natural materials and British craftsmanship.

The installation will be on display at Volga Linen’s Pimlico Road showroom until October. If you’re in the area, we’d love for you to stop by and see it for yourself. 🤍

A room that feels as though it has evolved over time. Antiques chosen to suit the period of the house sit alongside bold colour and pattern, creating a living room that’s collected rather than decorated. It’s this balance of old and new that gives the space its character.
