A decade of testing and rejecting sofas led us to the conclusion they fell into two categories:  beautiful, but terribly uncomfortable; or cloud-like with comfort, but aesthetically ‘challenging’!

It was clear to us that only one partner would really understand what we wanted to create, Lorfords.  Both teams share an eagle eye for great design, an obsession with finish and quality… but as importantly, both teams care passionately that the collection is best known for being ridiculously comfortable.

Each piece in the collection, which includes Ottomans, sofas & armchairs is made using traditional English furniture-making & upholstery techniques.   Equally, sustainability was forefront of mind: from the fabrics we sourced, to the intent that each piece should remain much-loved classics and in our clients’ homes for a lifetime.
