The kitchen at this Arts & Crafts home in Surrey balances history with modern family life. Original architectural features such as the archway sit comfortably alongside bespoke joinery and contemporary materials. Materials were chosen with both beauty and practicality in mind. The porcelain floor captures the warmth and character of traditional terracotta, while offering a more durable surface for everyday family living.

The island, painted in @farrowandball Babouche, introduces an unexpected burst of colour that brings the whole space to life whilst the hand-painted archway by @tessnewallstudio transforms an everyday transition into a decorative focal point.

We love celebrating the stories a house already has to tell. Here, the original timber door and historic service bell panel have been carefully retained, allowing these characterful details to continue playing a part in the home’s next chapter.

There’s something so special about a box room. Inherently cosy and wonderfully cocooning, they invite you to lean into a little whimsy. We loved wrapping this one in a favourite wallpaper, adding shelves for treasured books and designing clever storage beneath the bed, making the most of every inch while creating a space that feels calm, comforting and full of character.

The perfect family sofa. Designed to be as comfortable as it is timeless, with generous proportions and traditional craftsmanship at its heart.

When we set out to design this piece with @lorfords_contemporary we wanted to create the kind of sofa we felt was hard to find, one that is as practical as it is comfortable, generous enough for family life, and timeless enough to sit effortlessly in any home.

Creating this collection with Lorfords Contemporary has been a real pleasure, and we’re so excited to see these pieces finding their place in homes. We hope you love them as much as we do ✨

Working alongside the talented teams at @volga_linen and @lorfords_contemporary has been a real pleasure. Featuring Volga’s new Scarlet Flax & Field Flower print, the installation celebrates timeless design, natural materials and British craftsmanship.

The installation will be on display at Volga Linen’s Pimlico Road showroom until October. If you’re in the area, we’d love for you to stop by and see it for yourself. 🤍

A room completely transformed. What was once a redundant corner, heavy with dark oak and rarely used, is now a light-filled games nook the whole family gravitates towards. A built-in banquette wraps the window, piled with cushions in a mix of prints, and at the centre, a games table ready for cards, backgammon, and the occasional Monopoly-related family fallout.

The Wye is one of our favourites from the collection - a flatweave with just enough pattern to be interesting and just enough restraint to work with almost anything. Here it is shown in one of our recent projects, and we think it speaks for itself.

What we love about this one - spotted in @houseandgardenuk , a project by @golden_design_interiors - is how the runner holds the whole hallway together. A Georgian staircase has strong bones. The right runner knows not to compete with them.
